Welcome to UnCorked!

UnCorked is our brand new Flexx Theme that offers a mixture of rich colors, stunning background, and our newly developed plug-in called Billboard. Flexx and Billboard give you the ultimate, easiest to use blog theme on the planet!

There are so many great wines in the world to choose from and finding something you really love and appreciate can be a long process.  We enjoy the search process but maybe you would prefer to sample.  In order to help you streamline the process, we will start highlighting our reader favorites each Wednesday.  Today we would like to start with a fully-flavored vintage wine from Sicily.

To the right, you will see an image inserted with the “alignright” class from the media uploader. You should always be mindful of your content width to be sure that the text extends to the bottom of the image or beyond to wrap around it. With too wide of a content area and an image that is too narrow, it takes more text to create an attractive piece. It is a good thing that I mentioned this, because if you were to view this with the “no sidebar” layout available, this text stops halfway down the image and looks terrible.

Some people will prefer to start out their pages or posts with a small image in the top right, so we’d be remiss in neglecting showing off that ability. Since this image is even narrower than the image at the top, the text at the beginning of this sentence still does not reach the bottom of this image and I needed to add more content.

Finally there are people who may want to center their photo in their post but previously this feature didn’t work just right.  We have changed this up so that you can get a more balanced and professional look to your post.

Now it’s up to you to get FLEXX and begin your creative process for building your own blog and website!

There are places you should visit and there are places that you must visit!  The Cellar is a new posh hang out in the Paseo District that offers a blend of live Jazz, hearty conversations, and our favorite, a beautifully stocked wine cellar with some of the best flavors available on the planet.

The Cellar started from humble beginnings when John Doe was working as a full-time insurance broker.  John really desired to start a business that brought together his love and appreciation of people, wine, and music.  When the insurance company he worked for decided to sell to a competitor he knew it was time to fly.

The Cellar was just an idea at the time but as he began discussing his dream with past clients and friends, he discovered a real interest in the venture.  Four months later with his savings and investment money from a couple key friends his new business started to materialize.

John Doe loves the community and he firmly decided it should be central to the heart of the city.  The Paseo Disctrict seemed to be the perfect place but things didn’t work out as planned.
